At Caledonian, we believe that good driving is not dependant on skills alone. More specifically, good driving depends on beliefs and attitudes about your own and other people’s safety.
If you approach your driving lessons with an understanding that your beliefs and attitudes can be changed by what you are about to learn, you will pass your test more quickly and you will be a safe and responsible driver. At Caledonian, you will be encouraged to think about your driving lessons in this way from your first lesson.

“Could not have found a better instructor! Was always very calm and patient with me especially because I didn’t know any areas around Glasgow at all! Andy helped me build my confidence with driving and helped me pass my test first time. Would definitely recommend! Thank you so much!” Hannah Coombe, Kirkintilloch
“Andy is an awesome instructor, always made me feel confident behind the wheel. Helped me pass at the first attempt and the lessons never felt stressful or too difficult.” Gordon McColm, Kirkintilloch
“Just want to thank Andy for all his patience with me! I went from hating driving to enjoying my lessons every week! Andy Took me all the way to Livingston to sit my test so I could pass in time to go to Australia. Really sound guy who went over and above to get me my licence!” Catherine Christie, Bishopbriggs
“Andy was an excellent instructor for me. Having driven for years in America, it felt weird to go back into driving lessons to sit my driving tests here in the UK. Andy was patient with explaining how to perform certain manoeuvres that we don’t use in America as well as teaching me the different terms used here in the UK. Andy was also really great about keeping me on the left side of the road! I can’t recommend Andy enough for anyone wanting to learn how to drive.” Ginger Sutters, Glasgow
“Andy’s a really amazing instructor, I became a far more confident driver, especially with manoeuvres, which he made so much easier. I would highly recommend!” Polly Pentreath, Glasgow North
“Had a few instructors before Andy and he was the only one who made me feel confident driving. Sadly passed with someone else because I moved from Glasgow, but the instructor was very impressed with my driving and specially manoeuvres which I never understood till he taught me.” Hannah McGill, Kirkintilloch

Upgrade your driving lessons in Glasgow North with Caledonian Classroom Sessions
Three unique coaching workshops designed to increase awareness of risk-increasing factors such as driving for work, peer pressure, and the specific dangers faced by newly qualified drivers. Caledonian Classroom Sessions are unique in the driver training industry, and we believe that they are the future of driver education in this country. By removing the driver from the on-road environment, we are able to discuss in more detail the role that influences and beliefs play on decision-making and behaviour. Group discussion among peers allows different perspectives to be addressed, breaking the reliance of a new driver on the perceived expert – the instructor. Included in the package are two vital textbooks to supplement learning and understanding.
All Classroom Sessions are facilitated by highly qualified driver coaches who specialise in driver behaviour and psychology.
