Who are you and what do you do?
Ā y name is Pauline Martin, based in Glasgow. Iām patient and approachable with a background in supporting people with complex needs. My experience has equipped me with the ability to communicate effectively at many levels, ensuring that every learner feels understood, supported, and confident throughout their journey. We adapt lessons to suit each individual, helping learners feel comfortable, confident, and in control. Alongside work with learners, Iāve recently taken on a Training Manager role, where I coach and mentor new instructors to deliver high-quality lessons.
Before retraining to become a driving instructor, I worked for over 20 years in the voluntary sector, where i managed and trained teams to support people with complex needs living in homeless accommodation or in the community.

WhatĀ do you like to do when you're not working?
I enjoy spending time with family & friends, as well as getting out and about to recharge. I often travel to be with our families in The Western Isles & Ireland - a good balance between work and downtime so I can bring positive energy into my lessons.
One interesting fact about you...
I nearly drowned twice before learning to swim, and now my daughter swims for City of Glasgow.
