Grade 6 Approved Driving Instructor and ORDIT trainer (throughout Scotland)
I am a Grade 6 Approved Driving Instructor (the highest grade), an ORDIT-registered driving instructor trainer, and a Member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists. Over the years, I have been involved mainly in driving instructor training. I trained almost all of the Caledonian instructors who are now working with us. I can therefore guarantee that you will receive excellent, professional and value for money training of a high standard that will equip you with the necessary skills to be a confident and safe driver under test conditions, and thereafter in your driving career.
Special offers and discounts
We offer free Theory Test training resources with our block bookings, and our opportunity of a free Pass Plus course once you have passed your driving test is a popular promotion which is also supported by the DSA and participating insurers. Ask your instructor for details.
Some of our instructors offer discounts to personnel from various trades or professions. Usually there is a current or former connection. NHS, emergency services, bank workers, call centre personnel, advertising staff, childminders, carers, security staff, anglers and footballers – you name it – we can offer a discount.

Driving instructor training
If you would like to train for a new career as an Approved Driving Instructor then please discuss this with us. Caledonian Learner Driver Training is an ORDIT-approved driving instructor training establishment, and is also on the UK Register of Learning Providers.
Qualified ADIs are also welcome to discuss working under our banner in their local areas. We offer a low cost franchise programme which we are happy to discuss during an informal meeting.
